TRAINING

The training of personnel is considered as key by the company within its business strategy. The plans and programs, channeled by the Personnel Development and Training Department, seek to promote knowledge and technical and specific skills in line with the responsibilities of each job and the company’s strategic objectives.

More than 20 thousand hours of training have been given in 2009, benefiting over 1,280 participants in different courses. The programs cover technical matters related to the areas of enology, agriculture and operations, but there is also training at the corporate level for supporting employees on joining the company, their consolidation in their work and their knowledge of Concha y Toro and the industry.

Most of the programs and courses provided make use of a tax credit promoting employee training.

Apart from technical training covering the particular needs of each management area, the Personnel Development and Training Department has generated and led plans, programs and workshops for developing corporate skills and the role of employees, like team management and leadership.
