During his trip to Chile, the renowned American wine critic James Suckling met with Concha y Toro winemakers at the Hotel W in Santiago to taste the company’s most important wines.

He had the opportunity to sit down with Don Melchor winemaker Enrique Tirado to taste the 2014 vintage, which he said would be one of the Wines of the Year for 2017.

The former editor of Wine Spectator also tasted the most recent vintages of the Marques de Casa Concha line with winemaker Marcelo Papa and the Terrunyo and Gran Reserva Serie Riberas lines with Marcio Ramírez, the winemaker responsible for the latter line and had excellent comments on them all.
