DSCN9706On April 20, the Japanese journalist and editor-in-chief of Wands magazine, Kunio Bansho, visited Concha y Toro accompanied by important Japanese sommeliers.

The journalist returned to Pirque to learn about the latest developments in the Wines of Origin portfolio and chose the wines that will participate in guided seminars for major opinion leaders and sommeliers in the cities of Okinawa, Tokyo, and Shizuoka in June.

Winemaker Marcelo Papa presented the 2016 Gran Reserva Serie Riberas Chardonnay, 2016 Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay, 2016 Marques de Casa Concha Pinot Noir, 2015 Terrunyo Carmenere, 2015 Gran Reserva Serie Riberas Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2015 Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon.

The experts then met with winemaker Enrique Tirado, who led them in tasting the 2014 Don Melchor to conclude yet another successful visit with Bansho at Concha y Toro.
