Immediately we thought that the mixture between carrots, orange and ginger could be a refreshing juice, full of vitamins. On this occasion, we present a recipe that comes out of the ordinary: a light cream to serve freshly made, warm or even cold as a non-traditional appetizer.
Pinot Noir is one of the most versatile varieties to pair soups and creams, especially if they have sweet ingredients, as in this case are carrots, oranges and butter. Ginger is slightly spicy and acidic, so while it raises the aromas and flavors of the cream, it difficults the work of the sommelier when it comes to find the proper wine.
However, we propose you to enjoy this cream with Casillero del Diablo Pinot Noir, with its characteristic notes of strawberries and raspberries, as well as petals of rose, cedar and tobacco. For a better experience, enjoy it at a low temperature, from 10 to 12 degrees Celsius.
